Disabled Sports USA, Warfighter Sports Family Ski Camp # 5
March 2-5, 2012, Snowshoe WV
Challenged Athletes of West Virginia is now accepting applications for our 5th annual family ski camp open to wounded veterans and their families. We will be accepting 25- 30 soldiers and their families. Alumni from previous camps are welcome to apply, however we will have to limit the alumni applications to allow new veterans and their families to attend. Thursday March 1 will be the travel date with lodging provided the evenings of March 1- March 4, with checkout on March 5.
Veterans are responsible for their own transportation, everything else will be provided including: Lift tickets, rentals, lodging, meals, adaptive equipment, instruction, snow tubing, Snowmobile and snow cat tours, and a kids night out and pizza party. We anticipate this event filling very quickly so contact Challenged Athletes as soon as possible to secure a spot. If you have never skied West Virginia you will be pleasantly surprised; it is worth the drive to experience the mountains of West Virginia.
